One question though; I can’t seem to find where on my channel or which page that shows me the “About Results” you know, for determining if a key word is too large to compete with. I see in your tutorials how it appears at the top of the page not too far from where it says “filter” after searching the word or phrase. Did YouTube get rid if this display? Please let me know brother when you can. Thanks!@
This content will help you boost your rankings in two primary ways. First, more content means more keywords, and therefore more opportunities for Google to return your site in the search results. Brian it seems to me that one of the biggest downsides of videos on your site is the load time. So I was checking into lazy load. But then I read that Google doesn’t crawl videos if they are lazy loaded. Do you think lazy loading is a good idea? Basically what’s more important for SEO: speed, or having Google see the extra video content? Or is there another way to make videos faster?
Quick question though. What about a video that ranks quickly within 24 hours and it has no engagment no comments to views… yet because its key word optimized for youtube it ranks very high maybe among low competition keywords!! How could you go into a high competeion keyword and make a great video and have it move to page 1 in a week!! starting from ground zero no engament but great video and SEO.
Well you always write about the keyword “SEO” while giving YouTube examples. How can it help to YouTubers who don’t have any blogs or website (in step 3 – description part)? You could have given examples of YouTubers who are in entertainment industry as well because the people who visit your site are not necessarily webmasters. They could be anyone.
One of my favorite ways to give content a boost is to run ads on Facebook targeting people with interests that are relevant to the content. It’s fairly low cost since you are offering a free piece of content. By targeting people with relevant interests to your content, you drive the right people to the content and into the top of your funnel. And if your content resonates with them, they’ll share, link, and engage with the content in ways that will help Google see its value.
