Great Stuff Brian!! I have read carfeully throughout your guide and noted down a customized plan for myself to follow everytime I post youtube videos. By the end of the blog post, I saw that you had a checklist already provided haha. It is great however as I’ve written a more customizable one. You information is truly helpful and so valuable. Thanks so much for this blog post.

Local results favor the most relevant results for each search, and businesses with complete and accurate information are easier to match with the right searches. Make sure that you’ve entered all of your business information in Google My Business, so customers know more about what you do, where you are, and when they can visit you. Great post, Brian! I put up a bunch of videos on Youtube that were actually music tracks I produced.. come to find out Youtube banned by account. Why? Probably because I bought views from a website called vingler.com. All the views are from real people, but they are not high retention. I suppose that tripped some kind of red flag and Yotube shut my account down. I still have a personal account, though. I going to try this again!
Thank you for your advice. A lot of the content (although really good) was pretty similar to other blogs on the topic. However there was one new point for me that I think is really going to help. I love the idea of adding a link to our latest piano video in the signature of all our teams emails. I can modify all of the signatures every two days when a new video is released and this will put them in front of so many more people. Great idea!!
Longer content not only helps in adding more keywords to it, but there is also a natural emphasis on information. The authenticity of a post increases with longer text, which means that Google would recognize it as something more relevant than a shorter and concise text. As search patterns are synonymous with long tail keywords nowadays, a longer text also improves the chances of your article/website to be on a higher ranking than others.
WOW, That’s what i’d call a detailed, step by step guide. I have one question though. When you promote your youtube video (aka building backlinks), have you noticed if it affects it’s rankings inside youtube? Of course if a video is displayed on google it certainly has more views and likes which can affect it’s rankings inside youtube search engine, but i’d like to know if simply by building links on it, i will see positive results inside youtube.
Quora is a website where users generate the content entirely. They post questions via threads and other users answer them. It’s basically a yahoo answers type social network that works like an internet forum. Both threads and answers can receive “upvotes” which signify the answer was worthy and popular. The answers with the most upvotes are put at the thread’s top.
7) Social Engagment - Likes, Comments, and social shares are the name of the SEO game. If you have a high likes to dislikes ratio then Youtube will favor your video so the goal is to get as many likes as possible and as many comments as possible. I'm not going to go into detail here as I cover this in this "Youtube VIDEO SEO" tutorial so pay close attention to the end of the video.
Interact with customers by responding to reviews that they leave about your business. Responding to reviews shows that you value your customers and the feedback that they leave about your business. High-quality, positive reviews from your customers will improve your business’s visibility and increase the likelihood that a potential customer will visit your location. Encourage customers to leave feedback by creating a link they can click to write reviews. So good advice but you forgot to mention the second most important part to getting your video watched. So youre a nobody and no one knows about you how will you ever rank? keywords and all you talked about arent going to do it so what do you do? as soon as you post your video buy likes comments views and subs to rank thats the secret sauce my friends that gives your video a jumpstart to get it to place on the first page

Hi dean , thanks for his information before. I am trying to rank my youtube. Right now , I became the No. 1 video on youtube search. But I have not reached page one on google search. Especially after I type my keywords in google.com there are many competitors i slap in page 2-3. but when i type in my keywords google.co.id, I am in position 10 page 1.
Hey Brian That was a great article ! I was always curious about Youtube SEO and its quite detailed I’ll try to write the main points in my notepad so I can remember this checklist when doing Youtube Seo 🙂 The tutorial is also quite helpful ! I agree with you on the queries google uses for showing video results, that makes sense now why google shows videos on “How to” queries.

These are all great. I am working on implementing most of these. My biggest issue is my site is brand new (2 months). I am ranking for a lot but seem to be limited because, I am assuming, google will not give enough trust to a new site. What should I be doing to overcome the newness of my site? I buy houses in the Dallas Fort Worth area and if you are not number 1 on google then you might as well be on page 10! Any advise would be well received and please keep up the great work!
Brian, When a person subscribes to your YT channel as a result of watching a video, does it matter if they subscribe while Watching the video, or after the video is finished? What about subscribing after only 1 minute of the video or half way through? Does the timing matter? (You had mentioned if they subscribe after watching one of our videos it helps the video rank. I have known that but always wondered if it helps if the video is finished or not?)
Keep in mind, this will often mean shifting the focus of your business from more general to more specific products or services. For instance, instead of exclusively offering general home renovation services, you could consider specializing in "one day bathroom renos" or "custom kitchen makeovers." These more specific keyword phrases will likely be much easier to rank for, which will mean you can start ranking that much faster.
